Introduction

During the 14th century, in the Selcuk period, a mosque and hammam were built on the south side of the Ayasoluk Hill. When visiting the Hammam in the 21st century, a plaque can be seen on the fence shielding the monument from visitors. On this plaque, it is mentioned that the Hammam had been built in the middle of the 14th century but was only in use for 60 to 80 years before being abandoned and serving as a cemetery.
